Pattern – “Starfish produce bag”

Here comes a produce bag for kids that is inspired of beach life; with a starfish and a crab enjoying the warm sand.

This is a pattern for a beautiful produce bag for kids. I have designed it as a part of a whole line of pretty produce bags that are fun to use!

Because kids deserve their own produce bags!

Produce bags can replace plastic bags for shopping of fruit and vegetables at the grocery store. They can be made in different shapes, sizes, and colors. I have chosen to use organic cotton ecause it’s non toxic and easy to wash in high temperatures when it gets stained. I am making them in different sizes because I sometimes need small ones for just a few lemons or onions and bigger ones for apples and oranges. Produce bags are both useful, pretty, and sustainable.

I hope you would like to make and use produce bags in the grocery store and say no to disposable plastic bags.

I like to use cotton threads size 8/8 with a 4mm hook, but you can use whatever you prefer.
