The Skagit Valley Shawl is inspired by the tulip fields of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. This is the largest tulip festival in the world outside of the Netherlands! The cluster stitches are reminiscent of flowers in a bouquet, making this the perfect lightweight shawl for springtime!

Skagit (pronounced Skah-jit) Valley is located about an hour and half north of Seattle and is home to many outdoor activities, including the tulip festival and Deception Pass.

I’d love to see your completed shawl! Please use #SkagitValleyShawl when posting your work on instagram. You can also tag me @gooseandghostknits or email me with questions at ashleygraceart@gmail.com
