This hat is a classic fair-isle design. Its knitted in the round in stranded colour work. I have given shades of Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumperweight and Jamiesons of Shetland Sprindrift. They’re are 7 colours used in total but only a few grams of each one. The pattern has a combination of written instructions and charts. The finished size is 50cm/20” circumference and 20cm/8” from brim to crown. This hat pattern matches my Skaw Mitts pattern which is for sale in my Ravelry Store. This is a nice easy fair-isle project which would also be good to experiment with your own colourways.
