SKELBO - a quite spacious slightly short cardigan worked in cables and herringbone alternately according to chart. Modified drop-shoulder sleeves worked from top to cuff. The cardigan is buttoned down with an overlay in a kind of “double-breasted” way. Accurate written pattern.

Yarn: this design applies for a 2ply Jumper Weignt wool, 50 g = ca. 210 meters. To use 400 - 450 - 500 - 550 g.
The original model was made in 2ply Jumper Weight Shetlandsuld, 100 % wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles. We stock the yarn.
Needles: and circular needles (or double pointed) no 2.25, 2.5 mm and 3 mm.
Tension/gauge in pattern (washed sample): 28 sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
