Skeletons in the Cables
Some people have skeletons in the closet…I wear mine on my socks! (Well, their skulls, anyway!)
These socks feature a cabled skull motif that is sure to get you in the mood for the Autumn Season and all that it brings!
Skill Level:
-The cabled motif is featured throughout the sock.
-The cables are fairly simple, featuring 2 and 3 stitch crosses, all described in detail within the pattern. There are 4 different types of cables.
-The pattern includes instructions for a short row heel using wrap and turns, but includes notes on substituting the knitter’s preferred heel style. The socks pictured feature the Fish Lips Kiss Heel.
This sock can be worked toe-up or cuff-down, depending on the knitter’s preference.
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
- Chart repeats are marked in colored borders. Please keep this in mind if you are printing your pattern.
