Notes
Read all notes before beginning.
I used Deborah Norville Everyday Soft Worsted yarn for this pattern. It is a “soft” and “silky” worsted yarn. Using a stiffer worsted weight yarn such as Red Heart Super Saver may not allow the hat to drape or “slouch” the same.
One tester used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn. The sizing came out fine, but she did find that the hat didn’t have as much slouch. If you are using a yarn similar to this, you will probably want to add a couple of extra rows for more slouch. Notes are within the pattern showing where you would add the extra rows.
Hat is made to stretch. When you are working, it may look smaller than you expect. It will stretch. After finishing your first 3 rounds, you can slip the band over your head to ensure a proper fit before continuing.
