Kerchief is an easy way to either dress down or dress up. Depending on the style and the materials used. A favorite among women in Europe and Middle East. This pattern uses sock yarn and US 1 1/2 needles . You can do the same pattern with light worsted weight yarn for a bigger kerchief or just by adjusting the number of stitches you cast on. This pattern includes 2 different styles. Both styles share the same feature of closure in the back.
the green kerchief has a simple design to show the artistic colors of the sock yarn while the red Kerchief is designed to hold one small quartz at the end of an I- cord that is just long enough to rest on your shoulder. The I-Cord is made with the remaining 4 stitches at the end of the kerchief. A new way to incorporate jewelry in a head accessory design.

Both patterns are written clearly and with simplicity for knitters with different skills. This is one more useful way to use up the left over sock yarn.
