I’m not really sure how many yards are required as each size is different & the size I created for my sample is a Teen/ Adult. However, based upon the one I created I used approximately 1/2 a skein of the Red Heart Super Saver Multis/Ombres. I’m not good with my calculations I just love to create. Sorry.

You can also use a #3 category Red Heart for those that suffer with sensitive skin & for the infants, babies, or toddlers that you are creating for just use a hook size appropriate for the gauge or create per the increment measurements that I’ve listed with the charts for circumference & lengths.
