Easter is just around the corner. With so many different types of yarn in my knitting basket I decided to create a cute bunny using some of these yarns.
Bernat Baby Blanket is a soft yarn that is a (6) in weight. I have used some of the white Baby Blanket that I had to make the body, hands and legs of this design.
To create the head, feet, ears and then the clothing, I chose the vairous colours of Schachenmayr Baby Smiles (2).
Skinny was created first and when he was done he begged me to make him a girlfriend… so Ginny was born.
Where Skinny is dressed in overalls and carries two carrots, Ginny is decked out in a full lace dress, panties and matching sunhat.
The bodies of these two adorable bunnies are created by braiding lengths of the Baby Blanket. A new twist (braid) on the usual Easter bunny design that is often in Easter baskets.
This pair of cuties are easy to knit and the pdf, (although it is 17pg long) gives you a complete photo tutorial to successfully complete the duo in record time.
