DESCRIPTION:

This knitted beanie pattern works up quickly and is written for an advanced beginner. The “Skipping Stones Beanie” is written for both Worsted and Bulky yarn weights. This pattern is worked from the brim up and to be knit in the round. You will need to be familiar with using circular knitting needles and basic stitches. A photo and video tutorial are included along with written instructions.

This hat has plenty of texture and is designed to be used with your favorite indie dyed variegated merino yarn, but would also look amazing in a single color or tonal yarn.

SKILL LEVEL:

Advanced Beginner

SIZE:

Average Adult - but provides number of stitches to decrease or increase size as needed for your measurements.

MATERIALS:

Yarn -
Worsted (weight 4) 145 -> 180 yards (single -> double brim) or Bulky (weight 5) 109 yards, will need another skein if adding any sts from recommended CO amount.

Needles -
Worsted - US 6 and US 7
Bulky - US 8 and US 9

Other Supplies- Scissors, Tapestry Needle, Stitch Marker, Optional DPN, Faux Fur Pom Pom
