Skluv Gloves
This pattern came about because I noticed something odd when looking through projects here on Ravelry. I was looking at the Short and Sweet Jacket, and noticed that the motif looked very much like a skull, just waiting to get out. Me being who I am, I HAD to go get my Stitch N Bitch the Happy Hooker book from my bookshelf and look. Sure enough, it was just a matter of a few modifications to the main motif and that pretty little lace had morphed into a very cool skull!
I could not just leave it at that, I had to DO something with it, so I set out to design this glove pattern using the motif and other lace work to create a very subtle finished product that any vampire Countess would be proud to wear!
Technical stuff:
Gauge - skull motif unblocked = 2 1/2” tall and 1 3/4” wide
The width of the cuff = 7”
This pattern is very open and should accommodate most women’s hands. To size further try changing hook size and yarn weight to get the fit your need.
It is a very quick pattern to work up and is a great stash buster.
