This pattern is done in crochet.I used lion brand pound of love worsted weight 4 yarn and a 5.5 mm hook. It’s a rather large backpack so it could be done in a worsted 3/dk weight and still be a good size.
I highly recommend lining the bag due to the holes created by the skull portion of the bag.
