Ultimate Knitting Machine Cheat Sheet for Skull Caps!

The Skull Cap is double layered and designed to fit snug to the head just covering the ears. A long tube is made on a circular knitting machine with the form fitting top finished by hand with knitting needles, folded in half and secured together.

This reversible double knit cap pattern includes 5 unisex sizes with 3 color options.

Use any yarn that you want as long as it works well in your machine!

This pattern uses your knitting gauge and then simply lookup the row counts on a table for your size and style. The pattern will explain how to make a simple gauge swatch and measure it. Feel free to ask questions before purchasing this pattern.

This pattern uses basic knitting stitches (knit, knit2together) with US10 (6mm) double point needles or magic loop.

You’ll need:
46n or 48n circular knitting machine
US10 (6mm) double point needles or circular knitting needles

NOTE: Machine determines the width of the cap, the cheat sheet determines the length (rows) needed for each size.

Skills:
Basic knowledge and experience using the knitting machines is required. Refer to your owner’s manual.
