DETAILS
- There’re both written instructions and diagrams.
- Difficulty level: Intermediate, but advanced beginner can handle it with enough concentration.
- Pattern consists of 33 rounds for main part plus 6 rounds of edging.
- Stitches used: double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch; treble crochet, single crochet.
- In written pattern, common US abbreviations are used, alongside with few special self-invented ones.
- Diagrams exist in 2 versions, version A being the fullest, and B showing skull part in a slightly bigger scale with simplified written instructions for openwork part.
- Both written instructions and charts have been tested and checked for mistakes.
Though pattern suggests specific gauge and tools for making this doily, gauge is not critical and it’s recommended to use hook size you feel comfortable to work with the thread of your choice. Depending on your choice of tools and materials and density of your work, finished size and amount of thread needed may vary.
