The perfect gift for Halloween or Da de los Muertos! This lacy filet crochet project is not your grannys doily and can be done by an advanced beginner.

My pattern is mostly a chart but also includes some basic filet crochet definitions.

Skills needed:
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
ttr = triple treble
yo = yarn over

Tools/Materials Needed:
Crochet thread -- one 50 gram ball can easily make 2 doilies.
Crochet hook -- size recommended with crochet thread.

In the photo, DMC Cebelia No. 20 thread was used with a size no. 6 hook to create a doily that measures approximately 7 x 7 after blocking.
