Skull socks slim are my original creation, and I made them for my daughter, who has slim calves.

The yarn colors can be different from my choises, but the main color is solid Black, for contrast reasons. The skull color can be what you prefer, I went with a light blue. Also, a third complimentary color for few smaller sections is a nice addition, I chose darker blue for that.

Do note that you also need to do a few stitches, to make the teeth part. This is easily done with the same Black yarn used as the main color. The nice effect of having the teeth done is not mandatory, but definately worth the effort.

The knitting is done circularely starting from the top part. The pattern is done using Fair isle technique.

Beginning, cast 14 stitches on each 4 needles, ending up with a total of 56 casted stitches.

IF you find the pattern to be on the tighter side, you can add 2 stitches per needle, to the beginning of needle 1 and 3,and to the end of needle 2 and 4,and just continue the printed pattern with few extra dots on both ends, this will not disrupt the pattern! Do remember to decreace the extra stitches in the end of the pattern.
