Skullflake has two versions for your knitting pleasure:
The skullflake knit with sport weight yarn and the giant skullflake knit with bulky yarn.

Size:
Fits head circumferences of between 17” to 23.5” This is a stretchy hat that will accommodate many sized noggins. One size fits most adults and even kids really.
Yarn:
Two contrasting colors of sport weight yarn for regular skull flake hat and bulky yarn for the giant skullflake version. I used Malabrigo Caprino and Malabrigo Noventa, one skein of each color.
Needles:
For sport weight grab size US 4 (3.5 mm) 16” circular knitting needles or you can magic loop! Yay! DPN’s are needed in the same size if not using magic loop.
For bulky weight grab size US 9 (5.5 mm) 16” circular knitting needles for ribbing AND size US 11 (8.0 mm) 16” circular knitting needles for the body of the hat. DPN’s are needed in the same size if not using magic loop.
Gauge:
Sport weight: 28 sts and 32 rows in pattern, in the round = 4” measurement taken after steam blocking.
Bulky weight: 14 sts and 15 rows in pattern, in the round = 4” measurement taken after steam blocking.
Notions:
Stitch markers to mark the chart repeats (optional) and a different marker for the beginning of your round! Highlighter tape is also super helpful if you plan on printing the charts. A tapestry needle for finishing and blocking matts for steam blocking.
