Skulls and Crossbones Tam
by Libby May
Love the look of fair isle with multiple color changes but hate weaving in ends? I have an easy fix for you! This tam is is made with a self striping or long color changing yarn. It is a cute and punky tam for the person that is edgy yet sophisticated.
This tam is a knit in fingering weight yarn/sock weight.
It involves colorwork and an unusual way to make increases holding both yarns together and then separating them in the next row.
Finished dimensions:
Diameter of largest part of hat: 10.5 inches
Diameter of brim fits 8.5 inches or 22 inch circumference
