ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Skulls Headband crochet pattern uses overlay mosaic crochet technique. No prior knowledge of this technique is needed to work this crochet pattern as the Skulls Headband crochet pattern is highly detailed and includes step-by-step instructions with close-up photos every round. I have also included short videos for the special stitches and joining instructions.

This pattern is worked in the round and is made of 23 rounds worked with two contrasting colours. There is no sewing, and only four ends to weave in! The Skulls Headband crochet pattern has been designed so the seam at the back is invisible. There are detailed joining instructions each round how to achieve this and video instructions are also included.

The Skulls Headband crochet pattern can be customised to fit any adult human head. Detailed sizing instructions are included in the pattern.

MATERIALS:
4mm crochet hook.
DK yarn in two contrasting colours. (Approx. 20g/ 60m of colour A and 15g/ 44m of colour B)
Optional: Two stitch markers.

For an extra-wide headband, you can also use aran/ worsted weight yarn. Instructions are included in the pattern

STITCHES USED:
This pattern uses US terminology
CH: chain
SS: slip stitch
FSC: foundation single crochet (optional)
SC: single crochet
SCBLO: single crochet into the back loop only
DC↓: double crochet into the front loop only of the stitch two rows below. (Detailed written and video instructions are included for this stitch.)
