Skyfire
This sparkling, lightweight beret features a simple lace pattern shaped like an exploding firework. Knit loosely, it’s perfect for summer wear.
The test hat was given away before I measured the gauge, but it should have around a 9 inch diameter when laying flat if you use the suggested yarn weight and needles. Enjoy the pattern!

Sport or DK weight yarn
Size 8 circular needles, 16”
Size 10.5 circular needles, 16”

Stitches Used
K – Knit
P – Purl
YO – Yarn Over
Special Stitches Used
Y2O – Yarn Two Over (Similar to a yarn over, but loop two stitches around the needles instead of one.)
SSSK – Slip Slip Slip Knit (Like a SSK (slip slip knit) except you slip three to your right needle before knitting instead of two. This will decrease by two stitches.)
SSSSK – Slip Slip Slip Slip Knit (Like a SSK (slip slip knit) except you slip four to your right needle before knitting instead of two. This will decrease by three stitches.)
