This pattern is very easy once mastered, it produces a lovely stitch and is thick and snuggly for baby.
This dress will fit a newborn to 3 months, it is quite a stretchy garment so it will last a while.
I used an 8 ply acrylic for this piece but it would be lovely in wool also.
4mm and 4.5mm needles are all that are required as well as a needle to stitch up.
I prefer straight needles but the pattern could be altered to accommodate circulars as well.
One 100gram ball was more than enough for the dress and headband.
I had fun creating this pattern and cant wait to put it on my new granddaughter who is due in July.
