Skylar
Skylar is a blanket in overlay mosaic style blanket (one color is worked per row, and the yarn is cut after every row).
There are many meanings to the name Skylar but I loved strength, love, protection and the sky itself the most. In these pandemic, scary and weird times it’s something I wish for everyone. Well maybe sky itself is kinda hard to wish for someone but I do love looking at the sky.
The pattern is charted but an explanation about how to read a chart is given.
Skylar has an all-over pattern, and is huge, the repeat is 58 stitches x 72 rows! Challenging but also a lot of fun!
Used yarn is Stylecraft Special DK (3 repeats in width, 3 repeats in height, approx. 100 x 130 cm / 39 x 51 inch).
