Here is a pretty bag to crochet up for your summer holidays. Crochet it in any colorful stripes to get the look you want.

Finished size when laying flat measures 13” wide by 12.5” high not counting the handles.

You will need a worsted weight cotton yarn. I used Bernat Handicrafter Cotton, and worked off two large 14oz balls and still had lots left over. Any worsted weight #4 cotton yarn will work.

As for your crochet hooks, I used a 4.50mm and a 5.00mm.
