INSPIRATION
Winter to spring transition can involve ten different weather changes a day so a light warm hat comes in handy! When I saw this simple fun stitch, I knew it had to become a hat:) I made two samples from sport weight wools in my stash - I am sure you have something to use too:)
YARN
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport – 100% wool; 137 yards (125 m) per 50 g (1.76 oz) skein

Hat circumference: 18” to fit 19”-21” head
Height: 9”

US#4/3.50mm - 16”/40cm circular needles, US#5/3.75mm - 16”/40cm circular needles and US#5/3.75mm DPNs
TOOLS
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends and a marker
GAUGE
23 sts per 4” using US#5/3.75mm needles in Stockinette post blocking
