I felt like creating a Ukrainian hat for myself this last week. This pattern is just a generic hat pattern to use with my included Slava Ukraini chart.

Feel free to use whatever hat pattern you like, the chart is a repeat of 42 stitches (you can also use 41 if you leave off the first column) so you can adapt it as needed for different hat sizes or a different pattern.

The hat pattern included in the pattern has not been test knit or tech-edited. As I said, it’s a pattern I made to please myself and that’s why there’s only one size.

There are 2 options for the crown - plain blue (or stripes if you like) or a sunflower. For the second option I’d suggest using Ladder Back Jacquard to avoid abysmally long floats between the flower petals.
