Yarn

2ply Jumper Weight, Jamieson & Smith (Fingering (14 wpi), 100% wool - Shetland
or any other wool/tweed with similar yardage.

Needles and notions

“ US 3 (3 mm) 10-12” circular knitting needles for neckline and cuffs
” US 3 (3.25 mm) 24-32” circular knitting needles for the body of the jumper
“ US 5 (3.75 mm) 32” circular knitting needles for the fair isle
” Knitting markers
“ Row counter
” Tapestry needle

Gauge

24 stitches and 34 rows in 4”x4” after blocking. It is critical to obtain the stated gauge. Adjust your needle size if needed.

Sizes:

Kids 3-4 (5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12) years
Adults -XS (S, M, ML, L) (XL, 2XL) with 3” positive ease.

Construction

the sweater is worked in rounds, seamlessly, top down. Circular yoke, tailored to fit with elevated back.
