This stocking pattern is knit flat then seamed up one side (due to the intarsia color pattern) and does not give instructions for knitting in the round.

Once the stocking is knit, and after weaving in all the yarn ends, sew up the toe, side seam, and heel.

The finished stocking knit from this pattern measures about 7” wide by 19” long depending on the yarn you use. I used a 2 ply worsted weight 100% wool, 800 yds. per lb.
