Sledding Memories Stocking Cap
A friend was talking about how much she loved Nordic styled stocking caps for skiing, and we started working on a design. The process brought back so many memories of sledding downhill in wild abandon with the tails of our stocking caps waving in the wind, that this hat named itself!
The design involves basic stranded knitting with usually no more than two colors per row (five rows do include a third color). The tapered crown is accomplished by simple k2tog decreases and the hat is finished off with a fun tassel (instructions included).
