These cozy, stranded colorwork mittens are a perfect pairing for the Sledding Hat and will make your hands very happy. They’re designed with 4 colors of deliciously plump worsted weight yarn which allows for endless color combinations.

Finished Size
Sizes 1 (2): 7 (8)” 17.5 (20) cm hand circumference and 10.5 (11.5)” 26 (29) cm in total length (ribbing included).

Needles
Sizes 2 (2.75 mm) & 4 (3.5 mm): set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) and/or whatever method you use for small circumference knitting.

Notions
Markers (m); tapestry needle.

Yarn
Emma’s Yarn Washable Worsted (100% Superwash Merino; 218 yds 200 m/3.5 oz 100 g): Weathervane (A), Buttonwood (B), Volume (C) and Himalayan Salt (D); 1 skein each.

Gauge
24 sts & 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stranded colorwork pattern AND in stockinette.
Note: You may need to alter your needle size (by going up or down 1-2 sizes) in plain stockinette to match gauge in colorwork.
