Sledgehammer is a simple top down raglan sweater, in two versions: easy and linear, for the beginner who wants to approach the top down raglan construction, and decorated by a central cabled motif, for the more experienced knitter, who prefers a more interesting and challenging pattern. Cuffs are worked in 2x2 ribs, that continue the cables motif (in the decorated version), it has a straight line, with split sides, for a better wearability. Directions for the cabled version are written in bold letters (when different from the simple version).

Sledgehammer è un semplice maglione top down raglan, pensato in due versioni: semplice e liscio, per chi vuole avvicinarsi alla lavorazione top down, ma ha poca esperienza; impreziosito da un pannello centrale con trecce, per chi è più esperta e vuole rompere il ritmo della maglia rasata, con un motivo più interessante. Ha bordi a coste 2/2, che nella versione con treccia riprendono le coste corrispondenti al motivo centrale e una linea dritta, con spacchi laterali, per una vestibilità migliore. Le istruzioni differenziate per la versione con le trecce sono in grassetto.
