The tail and fin pattern is worked in one piece from the bottom up in the round. The tail is a cocoon/sack that fits up to baby’s waist. Pattern includes helpful photos and videos.

Skill level: intermediate to advanced (easier than my other mermaid patterns.)

Stitches used:
sc, hdc, dc and chaincless foundation single crochet (video available)

Materials:
Yarn: worsted weight such as Caron Simply Soft, Yarn Bee Soft Secret (Hobby Lobby) or similar yarn. (1 skein for tail & fin. Small amounts for bikini top & headband)
hook:
H (5mm),
F (3.75mm) for nb & 0-3 month bikini top OR
G (4mm) for 3-6 & 6-12 month bikini top.
