About the design:

The SleepSuit is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch holding two strands of yarn together, one each of colour 1 and colour 2.
The fronts are worked in seed stitch simultaneously with the rest of the work and features button holes.
The cuffs at legs and arms are extra long, so that they may be folded over.
If you do not wish to be able to fold the cuffs, only work them half the suggested length.
SleepSuit gives you an opportunity to play with colours, knit it in a single colour, marled with two colours, or let colour 2 change through the work, while keeping the same colour for colour 1. Another variation is to work the rib in a single colour, while letting the body be marled.

Finished measurements:

Sizes 0 (3) 6 (9) 12 (18) mth.
Chest: Approx. 51 (53) 55 (57) 60 (62) cm.

Suggested yarn:

-the sleepsuit in the picture is worked in Two strands Økologisk Sommeruld, 70% merino wool 30% cotton from Camarose, 230 m / 50 g,
Colour 1: 2 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) skeins.
Colour 2: 2 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) skeins.
- If worked in a single colour: 4 (5) 5 (5) 7 (8) skeins.

Alternative yarns are as follows:

-Two strands Yaku, 100% Merino wool from Camarose, 200 m /50 g,
Colour 1: 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (5) skeins.
Colour. 2: 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (5) skeins.

• One strand Alpacca from G-uld 160 m / 50 g held together with One strand N Z Lammeuld form G-uld 225 m / 100g. Colour 1 (Lammeuld): 2 (3) 3 (3) 4 (5) skeins. Colour 2 (Alpacca): 3 (4) 4 (5) 5 (6) skeins.

Suggested needle size:

Circular needle size 4.0 mm, 40 cm and size 5.0 mm, 40 and 60 cm.
Double pointed needles size 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm, 15 - 20 cm.

Notions:

5 (5) 6 (6) 7 (7) buttons, 18 mm and stitch markers.

Gauge:

18 sts and 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm on size 5.0 mm in stockinette stitch.
