I recommend 80 - 100 g Wollmeise lace yarn (depending on the size you work). Less yarn might work as well, if you adjust the number of repeats (work 5 instead of 6 repeats, that is 51 sts to cast on).

Measurements
unblocked: approx. 150 cm x 16 cm / 59” x 6.5”
blocked: approx. 196 cm x 26 cm / 77” x 10”
(measurements include borders at the end/beginning of scarf, each 10 cm / 4”)

The pattern works also well with pure silk (yardage 1000m per 100g) by Zauberwiese and Marisilk (seasilk) by Sheepaints (yardage 400m per 100g).

The pattern will NOT work with sock yarn (with synthetic parts), because it won’t hold its blocking.
