Sleeping Willow Fingerless Gloves
The Sleeping Willow Fingleress Gloves feature columns of cascading shells interspersed with columns of lace. The pattern is perfect for an adventurous beginner and has an easy-to-remember two-row repeat, with enough variation to keep things interesting for an exceedingly enjoyable project.
The pattern is worked in one piece and includes instructions for customizing the length of the gloves. Size will vary by gauge. Gauge is given in pattern stitch - a gauge swatch will be approximately half a glove because the gloves are so small.
For a S/6” glove, gauge is 4” = 7 rows and 23 sts with 4.00mm hook
For a M 7” glove, gauge is 4” = 6 rows and 20 sts with 4.5mm hook
For a L 8” glove, gauge is 4” = 5 rows and 18 sts with 5.00mm hook
The gloves can also be worn on the opposite hands - with the right glove on the left hand and vice versa. This puts the lacework front and center, but leaves the seam visible.
