This sleepy baby elephant is so adorable and fits perfectly in your hands. It is a fairly quick pattern to work up, and requires some hand sewing.

The images in this pattern are of an elephant I made out of 4 Seasons Marvel 8ply yarn, using a 3.5mm hook. With this yarn and hook size, the elephantis small enough to fit into your cupped hands. Larger hook and yarn sizes can be used, and they will create much larger sleeping elephants.
