Sleepy Bear is the cutest, cuddliest, sleepiest little bear. He’s always ready for naptime!

This bear pattern is unique in a few ways. First, the head and body are crocheted together so that you don’t have to sew on the head at the end. Second, the pattern includes instructions to crochet the ends of each appendage closed. I’ve found this make them easier to sew onto the body.

The pattern also includes instructions for embroidering the face with yarn and a yarn needle. A slideshow at the end of the pattern shows you how to embroider the nose and mouth. The link under the “Eyes” section will take you to a detailed photo tutorial on how to embroider the sleepy eyes. They’re really easy to do!
