Sleepy Bear Lovey
The Sleepy Bear Lovey is a cozy friend for a little one in your life. This crochet waffle stitch that makes up the bear’s body resembles a thermal knit, and is equally as squishy and soft.
CONSTRUCTION

The body of this little bear lovey is worked flat in rows. The bear parts are worked in the round in amigurumi style crochet using a small hook. The arms, legs, and head are sewn to the body, finishing with face embroidery to add eyes, nose, and mouth.
SUPPLIES

1 skein of K+C Essential Cotton in color ‘White Sands’ (100% cotton, 3.5oz / 180yds / 164m) or ~170-180yds / 156-162m of worsted weight yarn
5.5mm(I9) crochet hook or size to meet gauge
3.5mm(E4) crochet hook
Brown embroidery floss
Fiberfill stuffing
Notions: 2 Stitch markers, Yarn needle, Scissors. Sewing pins (optional) for holding parts in place while sewing.
