My “Sleepy Bunny” C2C Crochet Blanket is a large throw featuring an adorable bunny sleeping peacefully on a tree stump, surrounded by a large red-capped mushroom and other charming foliage. This woodland motif is perfect for anyone seeking nursery decor or those who adore the cottage life aesthetic.

Imagine wrapping yourself or a loved one in a blanket that captures the sweet serenity of the woods. The “Sleepy Bunny” blanket is not just a cozy throw; it’s a piece of fiber art that brings the peacefulness of the forest into your home. Crafted using the Corner-to-Corner (C2C) technique, this blanket is a joy to make and a delight to use.

The design is ideal for a large throw to snuggle up with on a chilly evening or a baby and toddler-sized blanket using DK weight yarn for the little ones in your life. This sweet blanket makes a thoughtful and charming gift for baby showers, birthdays, or any special occasion.

This pattern is 90x60 squares and uses Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Light Brown, Tan, Red, Dark Green, Light Green, Black, White, Soft White, and Pink. Exact yardage for each color provided in the pattern and appendix.

Skill Level: C2C is ideal for advanced beginners. As this project contains frequent color changes, I suggest a slow-and-steady approach. This pattern assumes you already know how to crochet the C2C stitch and can read a C2C pattern, however, a link to a full C2C video tutorial is included in the notes section of the pattern.

A blanket made from:

• worsted weight yarn will be 68”x45” or 173x114cm and will require approximately 3,600 yards of worsted weight yarn. This size is ideal for a throw blanket.
• dk weight yarn will be approximately 50”x34” or 127x86cm and will require 2,630 yards of DK weight yarn. This size is ideal for a small lapghan, baby blanket, or wall hanging.
• chunky weight yarn will be approximately 77”x51” or 196x130cm and will require 3,970 yards of chunky weight yarn. This size is ideal for an oversized throw blanket.
