Sleepy JellyBoo
the jellyfish is the perfect friend for the little ones, both to play and cuddle with. Or maybe just as decoration?
Yarn and crochet hook size is optional, but I used Scheepjes Catona and crochet hook 3mm and it measured ca 28 cm (stretched).
Whatever you choose to do with your Sleepy JellyBoo, I recommend that you embroid/sew the eyes on instead of using safety eyes, in case a child under three years old is gonna use it.
The tentacles in this pattern measures more than 22 cm if you’re using a 3 mm size crochet hook (according to the European safety rules, 22 cm is max length) therefore newborns should not use this toy.
But if you want to make one for a newborn anyway, (research has shown that the spiral shaped tentacles has a calming effect on newborn and premature babies, then it remindes of the umbilical cord inside of the mothers womb) make the tentacles shorter by making fewer chains.
This pattern is for personal use only, you can not sell this pattern or share it. But you can sell the finished product (in limited number), and give credit to the creater.
