Knit a sleepy sailor doll, dreaming of the high seas.

This pattern is suitable for knitters with basic knitting ability. To make your doll you will need: Chunky yarn (Hayfield Bonus Chunky and King Cole Comfort Chunky are suggested but any will work) 4mm knitting needles, toy stuffing, length of black DK yarn for features, darning needle, sewing needle, white cotton and two buttons to decorate.

Using only knit and purl stitches, this pattern is surprisingly simple to make. Chunky yarn and thick knitting needles means he knits up satisfyingly fast so is a perfect weekend or holiday project.

Finished knitted doll measures approximately 34cm
