The Sleepy Time Girl and Puppies blanket is an adorable blanket featuring a sleeping little girl and her wide awake puppies, tucked neatly inside. This is written in US terminology, with step-by-step instructions and lots of pictures and helpful hints.

This blanket is made in rows, starting from the bottom, using the basket weave, linen, waffle, and scallop stitches for the main blanket and border. Written instructions, pictures, and youtube video links are included. There are also instructions on how to make this blanket larger, if desired.

Included are written instructions as well as photos to crochet the little girl, the basset hound, and pound puppy.

I used 2 skeins (plus a small part of a third skein) of Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn! in Periwinkle and 1 skein in White. The characters are done with “scrap” Worsted Weight yarn (varying from approximately 5 to 13 yards each). While I did list the yarn I used, feel free to use any worsted weight yarn you have on hand in an appropriate color.
