A part of the Sweater Weather Collection, Sleet is a mohair pullover with short gathered sleeves. Slipped stitches are turned into ticking stripes by weaving a contrasting yarn through them.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
Needle A (gauge needle): US 7 (4.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge, 16” and 24” circular needles.
Needle B (for ribbing): US 4 (3.5 mm), or three sizes smaller than gauge needle, 16” and 24” circular needles.
Needle C (for tubular cast on and bind off): US 3 (3.25 mm)
Tapestry needle, waste yarn, stitch holder, removable markers, and a unique marker
GAUGE
20 stitches and 28 rows for 4”/10cm in Slip Stitch pattern, after blocking
NOTES
Worked from the bottom up in pieces, stripes are woven through the slipped stitch pattern with a contrasting color before assembly. Ticking stripes in Får add a textural contrast as well as color.
Sleeves are ‘gathered’ by increasing stitches in a single row.
