I bought one of these “make it your own” mug kits, a while ago, but only just got around to making it up. The pattern chart that I wanted to use is no longer available to purchase on Ravelry, or anywhere, but I’ve written out what I did to make the sleeve, and really, you could use almost any 72 stitch stranded sock or mitten pattern. If anyone tries it with one of my designs, I’d love to see what you come up with!
