Sleeved Poncho
This is a terrific way to knit up a fast cabled poncho. Grab your US 19 needles and 300 yards of super bulky yarn.
This is a fast knit for the snowy New England days. This poncho drapes over your body due to the large needles and you have the option of creating a sleeve when you sew the seam.
However; if you do not want a sleeve, then leave it alone and have a traditional poncho. To make it bigger you could add a cable repeat (cast on in multiples of 9 stitches) and knit for more than the 42” suggested.
Once you finish knitting, leave it be and you will have a lovely bulky cabled shawl. Let me know what you decide to create!
