Sleipner is Odin’s legendary eight-legged horse in Norse mythology. Known as the fastest and most powerful of all horses, he can travel across land, sea, and even the realms of the dead.
For these powerful socks I chose the Raun sock yarn colours Uruz (the aurochs) for primal force and endurance, Ehwaz (the horse) for trust and teamwork, and Raido (the wagon) for safe travels. Together they will create magic of speed, resilience and smooth passage through obstacles. They are a talisman for travellers, messengers or anyone needing momentum in life. Maybe even a hint of mystery.. after all, Slepner can slip between worlds.

Handdyed yarns from Vickevira, or fingering weight sock yarns as follows:

■ Raun Uruz – 100 g / 400 m
■ Raun Ehwaz – 50 g / 200 m
■ Raun Raido – 50 g / 200 m
