Easy and sweet, Slice is a quick-to-knit shawl that uses three colors of worsted weight yarn. The crescent-like shape of this wrap keeps it comfortably on the shoulders and gives it spectacular drape and a little bit of ruffle.
Slice is a great way to use your favorite single skeins of worsted weight. Two colors of yarn are used in the first section of alternating garter stitch stripes. The third color is used at the edge and is worked in a simple lace pattern.
Construction Details
This shawl is worked from the center top towards the lacy outer edge. The main section of the shawl is worked in two-color garter stitch stripes with increases that form the crescent shape. The bottom edging is worked after the main section is complete. An optional crochet border can be worked to smooth out the front edge. Video tutorial included.
