These fun shortie socks are perfect for summer and for knitting with some fun, bright self-striping fingering weight yarn! (or any fingering weight yarn!)

I knit this sample with a contrasting yarn for the cuff, heels and toes but you can knit these anyway you like!

These socks are knit in the round, top down with a traditional heel flap and gusset. The pattern is written for dpns but is easily adaptable for magic loop or knitting on circular needles.

The pattern has written instructions for Adult small and medium size socks.

Testers used between 50-75 grams of fingering weiight yarn to knit these socks, so they are a great stash buster too!
