Slices Shawl
Sequential garter stitch triangles worked using the wrap & turn method first increase then decrease in width, growing ever longer to create a reversible and wearable shawl. Wraps that require no picking up, coupled with a worsted weight yarn, make an uncomplicated and speedy project.
Finished Size: About 68” wide and 21” deep.
Yarn: Worsted weight (#4 Medium)
Shown here: Dream In Color Classy with Cashmere (70% merino wool, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon; 200 yd 183m/3.99 oz 113g): Visual Purple, 3 skeins.
Needles: Size US 8 (5mm): 32” (80 cm) circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle.
Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows = 4” in Garter st.
