I couldn’t find a shrug pattern I liked, so I decided to come up with my own.

The first page of the pattern includes row and stitch counts for the shrug I’m wearing in the photos.

The second page gives instructions on how to knit your own shrug with any yarn and lace pattern that fancies you, talking you through the steps I took to make mine.

This pattern has not been test-knit, so please do point out any issues you come across.

This sample used 360 yards of Cascade Ultra Pima at a gauge of 5 stitches and 6 rows per inch on US4 needles.
