A crochet pattern for a basic hat with just a little slouch, that can be easily adjusted to suite the wearers style. Crocheted from the top down, you can adjust the length as you please. A simple crochet cord threaded through stitches in the back gathers the fabric and lets you adjust the amount of slouch.

Note that if using Twisted Fiber Arts Playful Evolution, a size medium uses up almost every inch of yarn and includes the entire set of color changes. For smaller sizes, to include all the color changes you may wish to wind off a few yards of the beginning of the skein to start further into the first color. For longer hats and sizes large and extra large, Twisted Fiber Arts sells coordinating color 1/4 skeins and full skeins.
